Dr Indira Khurana is the President and CEO of Laser Cosmetics and Pain Treatment Clinics, a chain of clinics based in the Greater Toronto Area. Over a period of two decades, with hard work, knowledge, and persistence, it has grown into a successful business in GTA, catering to the community’s cosmetics health and wellness needs.
Dr Khurana’s career began in India. She was an Assistant Professor of Electric and Electronics Engineering at BITS, Pilani. She then moved to the USA and was an Adjunct Professor of Physics at Florida A & M University, Tallahassee, Florida, and a Research Associate at Clarkson University, Potsdam, New York.

Dr Khurana’s clinics offer unique laser treatments such as addiction control, migraine relief, skin conditions, and pain relief, in addition to cosmetic laser treatments. She plans to expand her pain clinics all over India and Dubai.
Dr Khurana gives back to the community in various ways. In 2021, she pledged $ 25,000 to the University Health Network in Toronto, ON, for research on Integrated Disease Management. At the 2021 Canada India Foundation golf tournament, she won a Ford Mustang worth $ 30,000 and donated it right back to be auctioned – the money raised was sent to the children of fallen soldiers in India. In the early days of the Covid-19 pandemic when government regulations shut down her clinics, she delivered free meals and groceries to international students and seniors.

Over the past several years, her clinic has been offering free Pain treatments to seniors on Tuesdays. Dr Khurana obtained her PhD degree in Atomic, Molecular, and Laser physics from the world-reputed Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee. Dr Khurana is the daughter of an Indian Army officer and a school teacher.
